Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 18, 2026 · Last Updated: May 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://subzerowolfspecialists.com (the "Site") and the appliance repair services (the "Services") provided by Sub-Zero & Wolf Repair Specialists ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or booking our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site or booking a service appointment with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
2. Description of Services
We provide diagnostic and repair services for Sub-Zero refrigeration appliances and Wolf cooking appliances at customer locations within our published service area (Manhattan, Brooklyn, and select areas of the NYC metro). We do not service other brands.
3. Service Call Fee
3.1 Flat Fee
Our service call fee is a flat $125 (USD) per visit, payable at the time of the appointment. The fee covers:
- Travel to your location within our published service area
- A complete on-site diagnostic by a factory-trained technician
- A written, itemized repair estimate
3.2 Credit Toward Repair
If you authorize us to proceed with the repair on the same visit (or a follow-up visit), the $125 service call fee is credited in full against your repair. If you decline to proceed with the recommended repair, the $125 fee is non-refundable.
3.3 Trip Outside Standard Service Area
For appointments outside our primary Manhattan and Brooklyn service area, we may quote an additional travel charge. We will disclose any such charge before confirming the booking.
4. Estimates, Approval, and Parts
After our technician completes the on-site diagnostic, we will provide a written, itemized estimate covering labor and parts. No repair work beyond diagnostic will begin without your express verbal or written approval. For parts not available on our truck, we will quote you the cost and provide an expected return-visit date.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept cash, major credit cards, checks (subject to clearance), and Zelle. Returned checks incur a depends on the specific model and failure mode fee. Unpaid invoices accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law and may be referred for collection.
6. Warranty
Every completed repair includes:
- A 180-day labor warranty on the specific repair performed
- A 1-year manufacturer's warranty on OEM parts we install
The warranty covers re-failure of the specific part we repaired or replaced. It does not cover:
- Damage from unrelated failures or unrelated parts

8. Building Access and Certificate of Insurance (COI)
You are responsible for providing our technician with reasonable access to your unit, including any required building authorization, doorman notice, or freight elevator reservation. Upon request, we will email a Certificate of Insurance to your building management within 30 minutes during business hours.
